Copper weakens in futures trade on profit-taking, global cues

Copper futures slipped by Rs 2.30, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 358.15 per kg today, as speculators booked profits amid weak trend at the London Metal Exchange.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in November contract eased by Rs 2.30, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 358.15 per kg, with a turnover of 5,354 lots. It ended 0.30 per cent lower at Rs 360.45 per kg in the previous session.
