| Copra Rajapur rallies on heavy demand, low arrivals |

Copra Rajapur shot up at the spice market here today due to heavy demand from stockists and retailers amid lower arrivals.
Meanwhile, rest of the spices closed at their previous levels in the absence of necessary buying support.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai hardened by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 6,000 from last weekend closing level of Rs 5,800.
Following are today's closing rates in rupees, with the previous rates in brackets:
Black Pepper (per kilo) 200/215 (200/215), ginger bleached (per kilo) 235 (235), ginger unbleached (per kilo) 255 (255), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 3,750 (3,750)
copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 3,575 (3,575), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,000 (5,800) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 4,500 (4,500)
