Corporation Bank implements 3i Infotech's eMudhra PKI solutions

Corporation Bank has implemented the 3i Infotech Consumer Services’ eMudhra Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, which provides for authentication of online transactions using digital signature certificates for their corporate online banking customers.
PKI solutions use an individual’s digital signature to ensure the security of financial transactions carried out by netizens.
In a press statement, B R Bhat, General Manger, Corporation Bank said: “In recent times, the incidence of cyber crime is increasing across the globe and this is posing a serious challenge to banks and their customers. PKI based authentication of transaction using one’s digital signature certificate is the only one that provides legal sanctity to the transaction besides providing additional security.”
