Clinical Research Education & Management Academy (CREMA), has planned to introduce a Master of Business Administration programme in healthcare and has tied-up with Assam's University of Dibrugarh for the same.
It will be a two-year full-time MBA programme in healthcare and the course has been designed to meet the growing needs of the hospitals and healthcare establishments, a press release issued here today said.
Dibrugarh University is approved by the UGC and accredited by NACC.
"Indian hospitals and healthcare establishments will need the services of 10 lakh healthcare professionals by 2012 from the existing two lakh.
Therefore, this is the right time to pursue an MBA in healthcare. Our course is designed in consultation with the healthcare industry, meeting the required quality standards," CREMA's Chairman, Vijay Moza, said.
A fresh MBA has the potential to earn a salary of Rs 50,000 per month which can go up to Rs 2 lakh per month after gaining an experience of a few years in the industry, Moza said.
After completion of the programme, a fresher could start his career as an healthcare management executive in leading hospitals and can go up to the levels of a medical superintendent, Director-Hospital or CEO of a hospital, the release said.
A fresher can also get into hospital planning or consultancy, consult with leading private, Government, international health institutions/bodies or hold faculty positions in medical colleges, the release said.

Hi !
Don't fall in the trap.
CREMA doesnot have the infrastructure.
Majority of the students dont have jobs still.
First CREMA should arrange jobs for the students and then make new courses.
Best of Luck to students who join CREMA.

I strongly support RAVI that crema is a fake college.only 15% are placed in good compannies and rest are working below labour salary and free also. They have a trick of giving non specific jobs so that when you are tired of finding CR job then you can take NON CR job also.
