| Raids were conducted in Timarpur and Daya Basti districts, in the Nabi Karim and Sadar Bazaar areas and at Vishnu Garden in which goods worth over Rs 90 lakh were seized.

| A Dabur spokesperson said the company had mapped out locations where fakes were made to close down spurious and fake products manufacturers, using leads from packaging and label suppliers.

| Dabur would spare no efforts to put them behind bars.

| Dabur said the problem of fake products in the Indian market caused an annual loss of approximately Rs 30,000 crore to industry and Rs 15,000 crore to the government exchequer. The FMCG industry alone faced losses of over Rs 2,600 crore per year from counterfeit products. |
