Datacraft India wins Cisco's 2010 APAC Services Partner of the Year Award
Announcement / Corporate Sep 04, 2010, 15:58 IST

Recognition for providing industry-leading service to domestic and regional clients

Datacraft India announced today that it has received Cisco’s Services Partner of the Year award for 2010 in the Asia Pacific category. Cisco revealed the names of the winners recently at its annual channel partner conference in San Francisco.

This award recognises the company's commitment towards raising the bar in terms of the level of service it provides to clients in India as well as those across the region. The IT Services sector has gained greater importance lately, with many enterprises realising that their services investments form a large and crucial part of their IT budgets.

Over time, clients have also become increasingly demanding in terms of service delivery standards, in an effort to maintain business continuity. This trend was especially evident during the recent global economic slowdown. With the tendency for companies to cut back on capital expenditure and focus more on operating expenses at the time, the result was an increase in the number of new and innovative service provision models such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.

In partnership with Cisco India, Datacraft India has made substantial investments in developing processes and human resources to ensure that the two companies can jointly deliver innovative services to enterprise clients through industry leading service delivery models. These efforts have resulted in a great number of success stories and client testimonials from across the Indian subcontinent.

"We couldn't be more pleased to name Datacraft India as our Services Partner of the year in the APAC theatre," said GB Kumar, Senior Vice President, Customer Advocacy, Cisco India & SAARC. “The recognition comes on the back of Datacraft India's relentless results-driven focus on providing top-level service to its customers locally and across the region. On behalf of Cisco, I would like to express my congratulations to the team, and we look forward to many more years of working alongside one another.”

"It is an honour and a privilege to receive this prestigious accolade," said Shailendra Badoni, COO at Datacraft India. "Our team, which is truly second to none, has worked hard and over the last year or two, has rolled out a number of innovative practices, unique programmes, new sales approaches and problem-solving techniques. But more than anything, the team has really gone the extra mile to ramp up our services across all functions – and the response from our clients has been phenomenal. It is extremely gratifying that this sentiment has been echoed by Cisco through this award."

Cisco Partner Summit awards are presented at three levels including regional, theatre and global. For a full list of the 30 awards won by Datacraft and its parent company, Dimension Data, please click here.
