| DHL Express announces extended guaranteed inbound delivery service |

With the extension of their Import Express shipping and billing capability, DHL, the world’s leading Express and Logistics company, today announced a further expansion of its international products and services portfolio.
Building on its recently strengthened international network and optimized routing capabilities, DHL Express has launched DHL IMPORT EXPRESS 12:00, a premium Time Definite product for inbound shipments. DHL IMPORT EXPRESS 12:00 assures an inbound delivery by noon, for vital deliveries from major cities, towns and business centers, with transportation charges met by the receiver. Initially available from major centers in Europe and Asia to the Middle East, the product will be rolled out globally throughout the year and offers a full money-back guarantee* in the unlikely event of a late delivery.
Reliable deliveries, lead times and greater flexibility are key requirements for the express business, driven by growing supply chain networks, shorter product life cycles, reduced inventories and the dynamics of changing customer demand. Says Roland Thomas, DHL Express’ Global Vice President Product Development: “Our customers from across all industries have asked for more flexibility to enable them to improve their transport efficiency. We are happy to say that DHL's inbound Time Definite guaranteed services take into consideration the growing demand for greater choice in services while also improving the shipping experience for those customers. Moreover, customers choosing a pre-noon delivery can now be assured that DHL will get it there on time or they can have their full money back.”
From documents to heavier parcel shipments, customers only need to call their local DHL Customer Service hotline or use one of DHL’s many online shipping tools to choose their preferred time of delivery.
In addition to DHL IMPORT EXPRESS 12:00 and DHL IMPORT EXPRESS WORLDWIDE for delivery generally by 18:00hrs, DHL Express plans to further extend their Import Express product range to include pre 9:00 deliveries in selected markets.
