| Educomp initiative launches free helpline for exam-stressed students |

In order to ensure safe ride through the dreaded board exams and avoid a fear psychosis, Learning Hour, a school tutoring company of Educomp Solutions, has launched a free helpline to provide stress counselling to students. The helpline will also help students solve any academic problems and doubts they may have before their board exams, all set to begin from March 2.
With special training on providing stress counselling along with addressing normal academic related questions, the chief mandate of the tutors at Learning Hour is to instil a high degree of confidence in the students about their ability to perform well in board exams. The tutors would be available on phone, chat across all its tutoring centres. Besides, the students can visit the website www.learninghour.com and click on the Board Helpline link given on the page to get connected to Learning Hour tutors.
Mohit Bansal, director, Learning Hour, says, "Our tutors are best placed to tell the students that their knowledge is more than sufficient to perform well and that they should not be afraid of the board exams, as they are exams just like the ones they have taken in school. While there are numerous help lines to counsel students on stress, there is none that seeks to bolster the students confidence from an academic perspective.”
Learning Hour aims to reach out to lakhs of students taking the CBSE board exams and help them improve their confidence and performance. Last year, Learning Hour was the first and only e-tutoring website to provide students with free questions and sample papers incorporating the latest pattern that the CBSE had declared just a short while before the actual exams. This year too students can view similar sample papers on Learning Hour website.
