The Oberoi Group company EIH Associated Hotels today reported 24 per cent fall in its consolidated net profit for the financial year ended March 31, to Rs 7.44 crore.     

The hospitality firm had a consolidated net profit of Rs 9.84 crore during the financial year ended March 31, 2008, EIH Associated Hotels said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.    

The consolidated net sales of the hotel operator also fell to Rs 166.3 crore in FY09 from Rs 184.1 crore a year earlier.     

EIH Associated Hotels has declared a dividend of 15 per cent or Rs 1.50 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2009.     

On a standalone basis, the hotel chain operator posted a net profit of Rs 9.89 crore during the 2008-09 fiscal, down 32 per cent compared to 14.63 crore of FY08.     

Shares of EIH Associated Hotels today closed at Rs 83, up 0.73 per cent on the BSE.
