Everest eyes 40% growth in FY 2009-10
Tushar Pawar / Mumbai/ Nashik Aug 01, 2009, 00:49 IST

To expand its PESB division.

Everest Industries Ltd (EIL), one of India’s fastest growing building solutions companies, has set the target of 40 per cent growth in sales for the current FY 2009-10. The company has major plans to expand its new Pre-engineered Steel Building (PESB) Division and eyeing Rs. 500 crore business from its PESB Division in the next three years.

Even in a slowdown, the company registered 85 per cent growth in sales to Rs. 529.45 crore in FY 2008-09, against Rs. 285.14 crore in previous FY 2007-08.

Speaking to Business Standard, M L Gupta, Managing Director, Everest Industries Ltd, “We registered 85 per cent rise in sales last year (FY 2008-09). The demand is quite good this year too and we expect 40 per cent growth in the current FY 2009-10 and eyeing a turn over of Rs. 1,000 crore by FY 2010-11. Turn over of our Pre-engineered Steel Building Division (PESB), which was Rs. 91 crore in FY 2008-09, is expected to reach Rs. 150 crore in current FY 2009-10 and Rs. 500 crore in the next 3 years.”

“We have diversified into Pre-engineered Steel Building (PESB) business. In July 2008, we commissioned our first PESB manufacturing unit in Bhagwanpur (Uttarakhand) at an investment of Rs. 50 crore and had a turn over of Rs. 91 crore from there in the first nine months since commissioning. We will set up another PESB manufacturing unit in western India if we see recovery in economic scenario,” Gupta said.

The PESB Division of the company designs, manufacture and erect any infrastructure project like factory sheds, logistic parks, warehouses, airports, metro stations, railway stations and commercial buildings. Everything is manufactured at the site and assembled at customer’s place.

Everest, a complete building solution company, fulfills the need for faster constructions with a variety of offerings like Roofing Solutions, Ceiling Solutions, Wall Solutions, Cladding Solutions, Floor Solutions, Door Solutions and Steel Building Solutions.

The company has manufacturing facilities located in Kymore (Madhya Pradesh), Kolkata (West Bengal), Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Nashik (Maharashtra) and Bhagwanpur (Uttarakhand).
