| EXL Services, a third party business process outsourcing (BPO) company, expects its revenues to cross $100 million in 2004-05.
| |
| This will be an over 100 per cent growth for the company from the current financial year’s expected revenue of $40-$45 million.
| |
| EXL has in the pipeline business worth about $250 million to be executed over the next three to five years.
| |
| “We expect to be one of the first Indian companies to hit the $100 million revenue mark in 2004-05. We have a strong order book to support out growth targets,” said Rohit Kapoor, president and chief financial officer, EXL Services.
| |
| To meet the growth target, the company, which employs about 2500 people, is hiring about 300 people a month.
| |
| “We have been hiring about 300 people a month since August this year and expect this trend to continue,” Kapoor said.
| |
| According to him, to meet the demand for employees, the company has set up recruitment centres in smaller towns.
| |
| “We are even recruiting from cities where we do not have centres,” Kapoor said. EXL Services in July announced plans to set up its fourth call centre facility in the country with an investment of about $7 million.
| |
| The new centre, situated in Pune, will be spread over 86,360 square feet and will have a capacity of 1025 production seats per shift.
| |
| After this new centre comes up, the company would have a capacity of about 7575 seats on a three shift basis. The company would be handling new as well as some of the existing projects in its new centre.
| |
| The company has recently bagged three new BPO contracts from large UK and US based companies and has stepped up the recruitment to fulfill its additional requirement of over 1500 seats.
| |
| EXL will also be using the Pune centre as a business risk diversification location for the company in India. |
