Fairwood executing Rs 1.20k cr proj; eyeing Rs 1,000 cr revenue
Press Trust of India / New Delhi Aug 23, 2009, 16:23 IST

Fairwood Consultants, which provides services to the infrastructure sector, has said it is currently helping to execute projects worth Rs 1,20,000 crore across the world and is looking to diversify to achieve the targeted revenue of Rs 1,000 crore in the next three years.

The major projects in which it is providing consultancy services include 40 hospitals being set up by healthcare major Fortis.

"At present, we are working on projects worth $25 billion across the world. In India, we have projects in 12 cities spread over seven states," Fairwood Consultants Managing Director Ranbir Saran Das told PTI.

Fairwood is implementing projects in sectors like urban development, new city creation, medical services and housing complexes, he added.

The national capital-based company posted a turnover of Rs 135 crore last fiscal and is eyeing a Rs 1,000-crore turnover in the next three years. "Last fiscal, we had a turnover of Rs 135 crore. We are expecting our business to grow multi-fold to touch Rs 1,000 crore by 2012," Das said.

As part of the growth strategies, Das said the company, which at present offers only consultancy services, is planning to become a developer and implement the whole project on its own. It is looking to develop projects such as waste water management, new and renewable energy and urban transportation systems.
