It is, therefore, easy-to-use for anyone, irrespective of age or fitness level. Through positions such as squat, bicep curl or stomach crunch, the machine’s vibrating platform targets specific areas of the body. Each pose is held for about 60 seconds at a time. Power Plates from different brands are available at various stores across cities: In Delhi and the NCR, these are available at fitness stores like Grandslam and Lodhi Sports; in Gurgaon, at Lodhi Sports, MGF Plaza Mall. In Mumbai, they are available at Basic Exports. In Chennai, try Afton, Egmor and in Bangalore, at Tranquil Wellness. The equipment is priced between Rs 99,000-5,75,000.

Calling the machine a “complete training solution”, Fit Line recently launched Cybex FT-450 in India. The machine comes with a stabilisation pad, which sets it apart from other Cable Pulley machines. Move the pad just a few inches and watch your muscles get a workout. This equipment is supposedly popular with athletes across the world because of the versatility in training it offers. The product is available across 33 Fit Line stores in the country at Rs 5,95,000.
