The foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 2981.23 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday.

According to the data released by the NSE, FIIs were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 814 crore, while they bought index options worth Rs 1486.50 crore.
