The foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1617.02 crore in futures and options segments on Friday.

According to the data released by the NSE, FIIs were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 419.84 crore, while they bought index options worth Rs 899.73 crore.

They were net buyers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 306.88 crore and sold stock options worth Rs 9.43 crore.
