The first session of the newly-elected Lok Sabha will begin on June 1 and the President will address both Houses of Parliament on June 4.

Subject to exigencies of government business, the session is likely to conclude on June 9, a Lok Sabha press release said today.

After the President's address, the House would discuss and pass the motion of thanks to the President.

Parliament will convene towards end of June for a longer session when the new government will present the full budget for 2009-10.
