Continued focus and commitment to Quality and Cost of Ownership key drivers.

Ford India has registered an impressive 98% growth in year on year sales in October 2009 as compared to the corresponding period last year. It sold 3,458 units in October 2009 as against 1,744 units during October 2008.

October has been one of the best-selling months with Ford India recording its highest sales in the last 25 months. The sterling performance in October followed a robust 50% Year on Year growth in sales in September 09.

We are seeing an overwhelming response to our product line-up, with the Fiesta recording its highest sales in the last 16 months. We are delighted to see such an impressive and robust growth for all our car lines; we believe that our product strategy and planning have gained the necessary momentum and traction in the Indian market.”

“The consistent surge in sales is a testament to Ford's focus and commitment to quality and the enhanced ownership experience through new initiatives like Quick Service that we believe will further improve our market share,” Nigel added.
