Franchise India to host 30th expo in A'bad

The National Franchise & Retail Opportunity (FRO 2010) show will be hosted in Ahmedabad on July 24 and 25 at Hotel Pride by RE/MAX India in support of Indian Franchise Association (IFA) and, co-organised by franchise and retail solution company, Franchise India (FI). Now in its 30th edition, the show will be a platform for 500 brands from eight sectors showcase their franchise opportunities to the serious investors.

The show comprises of a comprehensive exhibition and conference on franchising, retailing and licensing covering the dynamics of SME sector, drawing thousands of business visitors. Over past four years, the show has been registering 30 per cent repeat footfalls for consecutive two days with rest 70 per cent being the unique count each day.

The exhibition puts forth a spectrum of opportunities in franchising, retailing, licensing, real estate and retail supply from all possible industry verticals including fashion & lifestyle, food & beverage, education, financial services, health, beauty & wellness, travel, retail, entertainment to name a few.

The exhibitors participating at the show include, ICICI Securities, Kwality Walls, Remax, Eurokids, Zee Interactive Learning Systems, Gitanjali Jewels, Jetking, Chhabra 555, Mexus Education Pvt Ltd, Action Coach, SMC Global Securities Ltd, International Institute of Fashion Technology Vadilal Enterprises Ltd and many more. This expo will be a platform for companies to present and expand their franchising concepts by networking with an average of 3000 serious business investors coming in.

The show also boasts of presenting low cost home based franchises, free business counseling and start-up ideas, a press release stated.

Gaurav Marya, President, Franchise India,said, “The response from the business community to the said concept has been very reassuring and has exceeded our expectations in 2009 as over 1,5,0000 people attended over 8 editions of FRO and over 500 brands from diverse business sectors participated in the expo."

The show will cover wide range of business sectors, supplying the needs of not only existing businesses but also of aspiring and intrepid entrepreneurs under one roof.

Since its inception in 2003 Franchise India Expo has benefitted over 3.5 lacs business investors with over 75 shows held both in India and overseas.
