FUJIFILM to capture vivid colours of Onam

Launches new cameras; offers price discounts & free accessories across Kerala; opens service centre in Kochi.

FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, Japan, one of the world’s largest photographic solutions company, announced its special offers for Onam, the biggest festival of Kerala which marks ten days of high-spirited celebrations and shopping in the southern Indian coastal state.

In accordance with its business strategy to capture 15% market share in the next three years and emerge as one amidst the top brands in the digital camera market, FUJIFILM is launching two of its newest models – the FUJIFILM FinePix S1500 and FUJIFILM FinePix F200EXR – in Kerala this festive season. Besides this, FUJIFILM is also offering special festival price discounts on its existing range of technologically superior and advanced digital camera models. During the festive season, FUJIFILM FinePix A170 camera is available at a special price of Rs 5999 as against its MRP of Rs 7999 and the FUJIFILM FinePix J27 is available at Rs 6999 as against its MRP of Rs 7999.

What’s more, this Onam every customer across Kerala shall get a camera pouch, a battery charger and a 2 GB memory card absolutely free along with purchase of a FUJIFILM digital camera. Not to forget the three year warranty also being offered by FUJIFILM. Buoyed by the phenomenal response that FUJIFILM has received for its digital cameras in Kerala, it has even opened a service centre in Kochi to cater to its customers in the state.

Perfect for advanced amateur photographers, the 10 Megapixel FUJIFILM FinePix S1500 digital camera is a super-zoom compact with wide-angle versatile Fujinon 12x optical zoom (33mm-396mm equivalent) that features Face Detection technology with automatic red-eye removal,  Dual Image Stabilisation (combining CCD-shift with high ISO), ISO levels of up to ISO 6400 (at 3MP), and a brand new Tracking Auto Focus function. This, along with features such as Panorama Shooting Mode and Instant zoom, make the FUJIFILM FinePix S1500 a camera that will suit every member of the family. As FUJIFILM’s most advanced compact digital camera to date, the FUJIFILM FinePix F200EXR is the world's first production point-and-shoot digital camera to offer FUJIFILM’s new Super CCD EXR sensor. The FUJIFILM FinePix F200EXR’s sensor and color array generates high quality vivid images with its three selectable sensor modes such as Fine Capture Mode for high resolution, Pixel Fusion Mode for high sensitivity and low noise with ISO up to 12800, and Dual Capture Mode for wide dynamic range up to 800%.
