Fullerton on hiring spree; plans to target middle income grp
Press Trust of India / Chandigarh Dec 09, 2009, 17:13 IST

Financial advisory company Fullerton Securities & Wealth Advisors today said it will hire 300 more people by the end of the current fiscal and will also provide advisory services to the middle income group.

"We have plans to recruit 300 more relationship managers by March 2010 as part of our expansion plans ...Which will take the total strength of our staff to 500," Company's Chief Executive and Managing Director Pallav Sinha told reporters here today.

Acknowledging North India as potential market for its core business, the company has decided to further expand its network in the northern region by opening two more offices in Jalandhar and Amritsar in 2009-10.

"North India is a critical market for us as it is still under served as majority of other companies keep their focus on big cities...It results in opportunity for us to cater to this region," he said.

Besides, the Gurgaon-based company also plans to have presence in Chennai and Surat.

At present, the company has offices across nine cities including Delhi-NCR, Jaipur, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ludhiana.

"We have found that there is a tremendous need for catering to the middle income group in the market and our focus will also be on to serve them with our expertise," he said.
