Gammon Infrastructure Projects today reported a jump of over 75 per cent in its net profit for the financial year ended March 31 to Rs 32.70 crore.
The company had a net profit of Rs 18.64 crore during the 2007-08 fiscal, Gammon Infra said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The total income of the company rose to Rs 190.48 crore during the latest fiscal from Rs 159.37 crore of a year earlier.
For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009, the construction firm posted a net profit of Rs 6.98 crore. The company did not disclose the figures of the corresponding quarter as the scrip got listed on April 3, 2008, it added.
Shares of Gammon Infra today closed at Rs 120.50, down 3.33 per cent on the BSE.
