| GE Security, Wipro Infotech ink deal to offer security service | |

GE Security, a GE Enterprise Solutions and Wipro Infotech entity today jointly announced the signing of an agreement for coming up with physical security solutions in India.
According to the agreement, Wipro would work together with GE to build and deploy best-in-class physical security solutions for customers in India.
Wipro Infotech Senior Vice-President and Head India and Middle East Anand Sankaran said as an end-to-end IT service provider the company has been providing information security solutions to governemnt and enterprises.
"Now, we are looking at improving physical security aspects for government, defence, SEZs, campuses, enterprises, hospitality sector and other sensitive installations. Our partnership with GE Security will strengthen our offerings in the physical security space, which is the need of the hour."
GE Security has designed and developed security, safety and lifestyle enhancement products for intrusion and fire detection, access and building control and video surveillance.
The companies are also planning to enhance their ties in the region.
The entity would also provide training and relevant case studies for GE's security products and solutions to Wipro's sales and re-sales staff.
