GE Shipping, the country’s largest private sector shipping company, has delivered a new LPG carrier “Jag Vayu” to the buyers. The 1978 built carrier has a cargo capacity of 28,400 deadweight tonnage (dwt).
With the induction of this vessel, the company’s fleet stands at 40 vessels comprises 32 tankers with 31 tankers (12 crude carriers, 18 product tankers and one LPG carrier) and nine dry bulk carriers with an average age of 9.9 years aggregating 2.90 million dwt.
The company’s current new building order book comprises 11 vessels aggregating about 1.02 million dwt.
