Global pharma cos eye India as sourcing destination

CPhI /P-MEC /ICSE India 2009, South Asia’s biggest and most comprehensive pharmaceutical event, will be held from December 1-3 2009 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. This most eagerly awaited comprehensive international pharmaceutical event will enable visitors and participants to network and seize business opportunities that can be put into action and prepare you for the next era of growth. 

The event has 767 exhibitors from 20 countries & regions with pavilions from CCPIT, CCMHPIE & Pharmexcil. Also featuring at the event will be the P-MEC virtual factory and CPhI technology seminars, presented by the exhibiting companies. The exhibition will witness around 26,000 visitors from 70 plus countries.

Manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, natural extracts as well as experts in custom manufacturing will be present at CPhI India. P-MEC India will showcase companies offering pharmaceutical manufacturing technology and solutions. ICSE (The International Contract Service Expo) pavilion is dedicated to the contract services part of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process that will feature exhibitors who are looking at pharmaceutical outsourcing. Concurrent events - The Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, Department of Pharmaceuticals, is organising India Pharma Summit 2009, scheduled on November 30, 2009 at Nehru Center, Worli, Mumbai. The Theme of this summit is: - India your partner in Pharma. This Summit will identify opportunities, challenges and create a roadmap to achieve consistent growth.
