Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) on Friday received an injunction against an advertisement by Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting (WCCL) for its liquid detergent brand Wipro Safewash.
The Ludhiana District Court also restrained WCCL from showing the advertisement in any form, direct or indirect.
The order comes two weeks after WCCL got an injunction from the Hyderabad District Court against an advertisement by GCPL for its Godrej No 1 soap.
The Ludhiana court today said the advertisements, published by WCCL in a Punjab daily, were causing loss of business to GCPL and defaming its product Ezee.
