Godrej Group appoints Vivek Gambhir as Chief Strategy Officer

The Godrej Group today announced the appointment of Vivek Gambhir as Chief Strategy Officer for Godrej Industries and its associated companies.
"Vivek's expertise and his understanding of our business will ensure that he plays a key role in accelerating the positive impact of various strategic initiatives that are either underway or imminent," Godrej Group's Chairman Adi Godrej said in a release.
As Chief Strategy Officer Vivek will be tasked with building on the strategic capabilities within the group. And he also will help integrate various change management initiatives and guide overall group strategy, the release said.
In his previous role as Partner at Bain & Company, Vivek has already worked with Godrej on various assignments, the release said.
