Great Offshore shares surged 10.37 per cent to Rs 559.1 on revision of the open offer bidding price. In about a week’s time, ABG Shipyard raised the open offer price for Great Offshore from Rs 450 to Rs 520 per share, on the back of bidding war it is pursuing against Bharati Shipyard.

The stock opened at Rs 513 and zoomed to the all time high of Rs 579. The counter clocked volumes of 7.5 lakh shares. The scrip advanced 22 per cent in the last week.
