Multinational FMCG major GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH), which owns household brands like Horlicks, Boost and Crocin, has decided to expand its Indian presence through acquisitions of major domestic brands that match its existing health and wellness product portfolio. The company expects to strike the deal with potential partners within 18 months. GSKCH will also explore the possibilities of introducing its leading international brands like Lucozade (health drink for athletes) and Sensodyne (oral healthcare) in the Indian market.
