Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, in his first reaction after BJP's poll debacle in the Lok Sabha polls, today said that there is no full stop in politics and the state will continue on the path of development.

"There is no full stop in politics," he said while replying to questions on the BJP's performance. Modi indicated that he would continue to be the Chief Minister and take the state to the development path. "Gujarat will continue its journey on the path of development," he said at the Ahmedabad airport before leaving for Delhi this morning.

Modi had extensively campaigned throughout India for BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate LK Advani. After the dismal performance of BJP and NDA in the elections, this was Modi's first reaction to the result.
