Harley Davidson Motor Company India (HDMCI), the wholly owned subsidiary of Harley Davidson Motor Company, the US-based motorcycle producing company, today announced the appointment of its national leadership team. Sanjay Triparthi, who was the department head product planning and strategy at Yamaha Motor India will be the director of marketing at HDMCI. Triparthi will lead the marketing and brand development activities at Harley-Davidson India. Rajiv Vohra who was responsible for dealer development at Honda Siel Cars India has been appointed as director of sales and dealer development at HDMCI. Vohra will be responsible for driving sales and growing the dealer network with the primary aim of giving customers an experience in India like at any Harley-Davidson dealership globally. Yogesh Phogat has been appointed as director of operations at the company. Phogat was last appointed at BMW India. Phogat's specialty lies in supply chain management and developing and implementing efficient logistics systems, to ensure smooth functioning across a wide-spread network. Lastly, Manish Agarwal who has spent 13 years with Honda Siel has been appointed as director of finance at HDMCI. Rounding out the new members of Harley-Davidson India national team will be Navneet Banka as manager, sales and dealer development, who comes after three years at Mercedes-Benz. Elizabeth Alderson, will join as executive communications and administrative manager.
