The Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Ltd has earned a net profit of Rs 4.65 crore during 2009 as against Rs 3.59 crore in 2008. The profit earned by the society was distributed amongst producer members.

Disclosing this here today, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister, Paramvir Singh said that five milk plants at Jind, Ambala, Rohtak, Ballabgarh and Sirsa having registered capacity of 470,000 litres per day were functioning in the state.
