HCL Infosys has moved up in morning trades after securing a fresh order worth Rs 110 crore.
The stock opened at Rs 159, and soon zoomed to a high of Rs 170. The stock has pared gains and is now up 3% at Rs 154. The counter has seen trades of around 98,000 so far on the BSE.
Gujarat government yesterday awarded Rs 110 crore contract to HCL Infosystems to take Information Technology (IT) to around 7,000 schools in the state. As part of the contract, the IT major will supply PCs with biometric finger print scanner and UPS to over 6,000 schools under education department and 1,000 schools under tribal department.
