HCL Infosystems has seen its profit fall 10.77 per cent. The company has reported a profit of Rs 58.97 crore in the second quarter this financial year as compared to Rs 66.09 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year.

The income too saw a decline of 2.29 per cent. The income for the quarter ended September 30 was Rs 3,027.46 crore as compared to Rs 3,098.45 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year.

Following the results, the company’s share price fell 0.79 per cent. The stock closed at Rs 157.70.

The company has also declared dividend of Rs 1.5 a share.
