HCL Infosystems closed at Rs 162, higher by Rs 1.6 or 1% on the BSE. The stock had opened at Rs 160 and touched a high of Rs 168 and a low of Rs 160 during the day.

IT firm HCL Infosystems is trading at Rs 165, higher by 4 points or 2.8%, on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 160 and has touched a high of Rs 168 so far.

The company opened its Rs 500 crore equity share issue for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) on October 15. The shares would be issued on a qualified institutional placement (QIP) basis, the company has said.
