The stock gained 3.8 per cent to Rs 357.10, nine-year high, after the HCL AXON signed a five-year global IT services deal with pharma company GlaxoSmithKline. Under the agreement the company will provide systems integration, SAP implementation and IT consulting services to GSK globally. HCL AXON is the world's largest services provider dedicated to SAP solutions.

This is one more major global SAP transformation win for HCL AXON since the company’s acquisition of AXON in December 2008. This win accelerates the company’s rapid growth in the life science industry, one of its fastest growing industry verticals.
