One of the leading hardware, services and ICT system integration company, HCL Infosystems Limited has unveiled its new range of 3G enabled ME series Netbook, the HCL ME 06.
According to an official press release, the products are designed to match the persona of youth and support the on-the-go lifestyle of business executives. Moreover, HCL ME 06 comes with integrated 3G capabilities, offering seamless connectivity and faster access to the internet. With energy star 5.0 certified, HCL ME 06 will be available in a range of exciting festival colours including red, blue and black.
HCL also launched the new notebook ‘HCL ME 45’, equipped with multi touch gesture touchpad that helps user to expand, shrink & rotate the picture through the movement of figures on touchpad. Apart from that, other innovative features include sharing data, system for prevention of data theft, and data encryption to avoid unauthorized access. Both, HCL ME 06 Netbook and HCL ME 45 notebook will be available across stores in the country.
Given our recent experience with HCL laptop quality and after sale service I would not recommend HCL laptops to any one. Laptop stayed with HCL service center close to 4 months out of first 12 months of ownership. It was given to HCL service center 2 months ago for in warranty repair third time and is still with them. They commited couple of days and some times 1 week but for two months they have not returned the same. You can find more on my blog. Worst service and overall very poor feedback. Avoid and buy a laptop from a multi national brand like Compaq, HP, Toshiba, Acer or Dell.

I wish HCL to make this product as successful one.I request HCL to make sure the stableness of this product before launch this.Please dont make one more product like p28 model laptop.
