| Hindujas keen on more investments in Uttarakhand |

Noted industrialists Hinduja brothers have met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and evinced interest in developmental projects, especially in health, power and infrastructure sectors, in the state.
All the four brothers — Shrichand, Ashok, Gopichand and Prakash — met the Chief Minister here last night and discussed various issues related to development of projects through the public-private-partnership mode, an official release said here today.
"Ashok Leyland story in Uttarakhand is very successful. We have very good experience and we want to invest more in Uttarakhand," Gopichand Hinduja said.
The brothers appreciated the state government's Ayush gram programme, which promotes ayurvedic system of medicines, and said their companies would like to participate in the health sector.
They said a world-class knowledge centre can be set up in the hill state, adding that the group can also contribute to other sectors like power, tourism and infrastructure.
The brothers added that the group can also take up the development of roads under the built-operate and transfer mode.
Nishank told the Hinduja brothers that the government would seriously consider the proposals of the group, the statement added.
