The stock touched a high of Rs 281 and finally ended with a 3.5% loss at Rs 273. Around 342,796 stocks were traded on the BSE today.

Hindustan Unilever is trading at Rs 272, lower by Rs 10 or 3%. The stock had opened at Rs 279 and touched a high of Rs 280 and a low of Rs 268 so far during the day.

The net profit of India’s largest fast-moving consumer goods maker, Hindustan Unilever, fell in the second quarter (July to September) on a one-time charge related to a settlement with former workers.
