HT Burda Media bags 16-mn euro contract from Outiror

HT Burda Media (HTBM), a 51:49 JV between HT Medi and Germany-based Hubert Burda Media, today said it has bagged a printing contract worth 16 million euros (around Rs 103 crore) from French company Outiror.
As per the contract, HTBM would be the exclusive printing partner for Outiror for the next two years, HTBM said in a statement.
It is also in an advanced stage of negotiations with two large international retail brands for annual printing of 12 million catalogues, the statement said.
HTBM will print 100 million catalogues per year for company's three brands — Direct Delta, Outiror and Oye Oye from its newly commissioned Rotogravuere printing presses at Greater Noida, it added.
In addition, HTBM has already entered into pre-press and printing work agreements with ITC, Orient Black Swan, 9.9, DLF and Dabur amongst others.
