| Hyundai sponsors 'Monthly Medal Round' at Classic Golf Resorts |

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the largest exporter and second largest car manufacturer in India, today announced that it will sponsor the ‘Monthly Medal Round 2011-12’ at Classic Golf Resort, Manesar. The tournament, organised for Classic members and invitees, will now be known as ‘Hyundai Classic Monthly Medal Round 2011-12’ and will commence on July 30, 2011.
Commenting on the announcement, Arvind Saxena, Director-Sales and Marketing, HMIL said, “We are delighted to announce our association with the ‘Classic Monthly Medal Round 2011-12’. Golf as a sport is gradually gaining prominence in India and our country holds great potential in terms of golfing talent. With this endeavour, we aim to support the development of the game in the country and we remain committed in our efforts to bring excitement to sports.”
The Hyundai Classic Monthly Medal Round 2011-12 will consist of one event every month. Round 2011 will commence from July 30, 2011 and will continue until December 10, 2011. Round 2012 will begin in January and will continue till June, 2012.
Hyundai Santa Fe and Hyundai Sonata Transform would be prominently displayed inside the golf course during the entire duration of the tournament.
As a dynamic automotive brand, HMIL has always associated with prominent sporting events. During the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Hyundai had organized several initiatives like the Hyundai Fan Parks, Hyundai ICC First and Last Ball Tour amongst others to create excitement during the entire duration of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
