Mumbai-based Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality Private Limited (IEHPL), which is into restaurant business, plans to invest around Rs 20 crore by 2010 to expand its presence in all the metros through its brand Mocha, according to managing director Riyaaz Amlani.
Towards this, the company would set up six Mocha Mojo outlets, including one each in Hyderabad and Bangalore. It opened its second Mocha outlet in Chennai on Monday.
The 60-crore company has 15 ‘Mocha-coffee and conversations’ outlets across the country. Mocha Mojo, on the other hand, is present only in Mumbai and Chennai and would come up in Delhi next month.
The company is also eyeing overseas expansion with Dubai and Colombo as potential locations.
Amlani, however, did not give a time frame citing volatile market conditions in the West Asia and political conditions in Colombo.
