After nearly one and a half years of partnership, IIFL (the institutional equities arm of India Infoline) and Auerbach Grayson & Company, US-based stockbroker, have terminated their partnership.

The company did not specify reasons for parting ways. IIFL will now continue expanding its international business alone. It already has presence in New York, Dubai and Singapore.

The company hired Anindya Chatterjee to head its US division. Chatterjee was earlier managing director at Jefferies & Co, heading emerging Asian (China and India) equity research, as strategist and economist.
