Over 10 Indian handicrafts companies will participate in five-day in Munich (Germany) fair that will showcase eco-friendly products across categories.
The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, has set up an Indian Pavilion in the fair wherein Indian firms would showcase eco-friendly handcrafted products ranging from textiles, furnishings, fabrics, accessories and Christmas decorations.
One of the major attractions at the Pavilion would be live demonstration of weaving skills on a traditional wooden loom by craft persons, who have received National Awards in the past.
Heim+Handwerk Fair is one of the largest consumer exhibition in Germany promoting direct sales to consumers, besides order booking to departmental stores and importers.
