The stock of Infosys Technologies rose nearly 2 per cent to close at Rs 2,235, a level not reached in over two years.

The stock, which has gained about 7 per cent over the last month, spurted after Nomura Holdings said it was changing its stance on the company from bearish to neutral. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 2,248 and a low of Rs 2,202.
