Interglobe Hotels, a joint venture between Interglobe Enterprises and international economy hotels operator Accor, will set up 14 hotels under the brand name ‘Ibis’ in 10 Indian cities over next three years. Ibis would eventually have presence in cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Nashik, a press release stated.
Interglobe Hotels would open its second property in Pune on October 1 this year and the same would be followed by another launch in Mumbai.
Uttam Dave, president and CEO, InterGlobe Hotels said, “The Ibis brand in asia pacific is experiencing significant expansion with 21 Ibis hotels opening within the region this year. This would be in addition to the existing 71 Ibis hotels in Asia Pacific.”
