IRB Infra is lowest bidder for NHAI's Rs 1,200-cr project

IRB Infrastructure Developers today said it has emerged as the lowest bidder for the Rs 1,200- crore project of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
"The company has emerged as the lowest bidder" for the highway project in Punjab and "has sought a grant of Rs 126.90 crore from NHAI," IRB Infrastructure Developers said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
According to the infrastructure developer, it had submitted its bid with NHAI for developing road on the Pathankot to Amritsar section of NH-15 (National Highway).
"The project is on grant basis with concession period of 20 years and its estimated cost is Rs 1,200 crore," it added.
Earlier, this week, the company had said that it has emerged as the lowest bidder for the Rs 800-crore highway project of NHAI in Goa.
Shares of IRB infra were trading at Rs 133.20, up 1.64 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
