| Sensex slips further, down 130pts |

The Sensex has slipped further, down 130 points. The NSE Nifty is at 4,567, down 37 points.

The Sensex after entering into the positive zone for a brief while has again slipped into the negative. The index is now at 15,469, down 50 points.
The Consumer Durables index has added 2% to 3,139. The Oil & Gas, Public sector unit and the metal indices are up over 1% each. The BSE It index is on the ohther hand down 1%.
ONGC has gained 5% at Rs 1,220. Hindalco has added 3% to Rs 112.
Tata Steel, Reliance Infrastructure and Sterlite have soared over 2% each to Rs 482, Rs 1,195 and Rs 674, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra, ACC, Grasim and Tata Power are up over 1% each.
HDFC has slipped 2% to Rs 2,319. ITC, Wipro, TCS, Hero Honda, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, Jaiprakash Associates and NTPC are down over 1% each.
The market breadth is fairly positive, out of 2,398 shares traded, 1,436 have advanced and 883 have declined so far on the BSE.
The NSE Nifty is at 4,594, down 10 points.
