"We are now present in almost all over the world. However, we feel that emerging markets like India are our potential markets for our future growth," Sixty Spa Fashion and Authentic brands Export Manager (Emerging Markets) Damiano Cassi said.

At present, Miss Sixty has introduced only its shoes and accessories, but plans to launch its apparel segment from its global portfolio for which it has already started looking for potential partners in the country.

"We are only introducing accessories and shoes here as this is the fastest growing category all over the world. However, we plan to bring products from our apparel segment from Miss Sixty portfolio as well others brands like Energie and Killah," he said.

While the company will be focusing on marketing activities this year, it hopes to open another outlet in Mumbai by next year and take its total number of stores in the country to 32 stores in the next five years.

Cassi said while 10-12 stores will be exclusive, the rest will be franchisee-owned.

"Though the real estate market has not been doing so well, it has started recovering. And we feel that this is the best time start out business here," he said.

He said the company is also looking at local manufacturing of its products in the future.

"We are now looking at partners to introduce our apparel brands. Besides, we would also like to start local production of our products, by giving licence to our partners," he said.
