ITC Infotech, a global IT services company and a fully owned subsidiary of fast moving consumer goods and cigarettes major ITC, today introduced an application Metatag+ for the media and entertainment industry.
Metatag+ provides a suite of tools to create, organize, search metadata and associate them with related assets in an organisation. It is a solution and platform independent framework for metadata collaboration across the enterprise.
ITC Infotech also complements this solution with a diagnostic consulting approach around Information Architecture Modeling to enhance findability of assets and related metadata.

The company introduced this solution at the Henry Stewart Digital Asset Management 2009 Conference, in New York.
“North America is a key market for ITC Infotech," said L N Balaji, President – US operations, ITC Infotech and adds, “We work closely with leading Media and Entertainment companies in North America and have been providing solutions that address critical business needs. The Metatag+ solution will further enhance our value proposition to companies in this space.”
ITC Infotech has a dedicated Media and Entertainment practice, focusing on building specific solution accelerators and cost take-out propositions.
The practice has developed solution accelerators spanning across areas such as metadata management, asset life cycle management, and intellectual property management, besides cost take-out propositions in digitisation, cataloging, technology operations and testing services.
