The stock slipped further to a low of Rs 233 and finally closed near the day's low at rs 234 - down 6.3%. Around 32.29 million shares were traded on the BSE today.

Jaiprakash Associates has dropped sharply in trades today after news of treasury stake sale.

The stock opened at Rs 248 and slipped 6.5% to touch a low of Rs 234. The stock is now trading down 5% at Rs 238. The counter has clocked hefty volumes of 28.61 million shares on the BSE.
